Many volunteers are needed during this 4-day event (April 11-13), plus set-up day (April 10), to make the 2011 AzSEF flow smoothly and be a successful experience for the students and their teachers.
All 2011 AzSEF activities will take place at the Phoenix Convention Center, South Hall. Please check the days and time(s) you can commit to volunteer. After your registration is submitted, you will receive a confirmation of your commitment. Because of the number of students expected to participate in the 2011 AzSEF, it is critical that volunteers who register for specific times are able to follow through and participate.
There will be training for all volunteers prior to and during the AzSEF to enable you to be prepared for your volunteer assignments. You will be notified of this in early April 2011.
Volunteers working during a lunch or dinner hour will be provided food and beverage. Volunteers will be provided with parking permits and will receive a special shirt to wear so as to identify your ability to assist participants at the AzSEF.
The Conflict of Interest Policy of AzSEF is that volunteers who know students with a project entered in the fair will not be assigned exhibit floor duties on judging day.
